If you remember that military looks were seen on the runway for Fall and Winter 2014/15.  Well they came back for 2016 as well!  I am going to show you how to wear this trend and where to find these items at.

The military look is something that can be tricky. You really do not want to look like you are ready for actually combat. So here are a few modest looks that look more feminine than masculine. Alex Chung nailed military chic very well!

This olive shirt dress is cute and comfortable look and is ladylike. Paired with a lighter green and black jacket makes it look more edgier.  Pair this cut out boots which are popular for this season.

Military chic 2

The military look does not have to be just olive colors and khakis. It can also be black and gold. This is another shirt dress but is long sleeved which is perfect for the fall and winter. The military cap makes a huge statement about this being military chic. It also makes the outfit more casual.

Here are a few military inspired items you can find under 100 Bucks! Keep in mind to be military chic does not mean just wearing green or tan. Look for items that have a lot of buttons and buckles on it. For example, Peacoats and Lace up boots also are military inspired. And of course the 2016 favorite a bomber jacket is also military inspired!
