Bad Girl Plaid

Good morning,

Well I mentioned plaids in my post TBT:1954 last week and how it was popular that year.

  Plaids on the runway

Plaids have made a comeback according to fashion experts but to me this tricky "trend" has never really left. Plaids are worn by people of all walks of life whether it is a southern belle or a New York socialite, or even a royal. Plaids have been around for a long time and is here to stay. But even though the print is a long lasting favorite it is still a tricky look to pull off. Wearing plaids can sometimes make you look like a Lumberjack or little school girl. But here some recreated looks and inspiration that shows that this look can be feminine and age appropriate.

A basic plaid shirt can be all gussied up when paired with pretty statement jewelry. It can also be layered.

Daring in plaid

Emma Watson proves that plaids can be daring look for adults. Add a leather or faux leather jacket with cute dress.

A jean shirt can be dressed up with a plaid skirt and jewelry.
