TBT: Classic Christmas Movies

Untitled #321

Good morning,

I have been watching a lot of christmas movies ranging from Hallmark and Lifetime movies. But my favorite would have to be the those old movies that come on TCM or AMC. Or those classic christmas cartoons that have been around for generations to enjoy. What I loved about the movies were the songs, the messages of hope and peace, the dances, and the lessons of truth that everyone should know. I also being a lover of fashion noticed the many fashionable and looks in the movies. So here are a few classic looks from some of my favorite Classic Christmas Movies in no particular order!

A Charlie Brown Christmas is a fun and inspiring cartoon. Filled with Charlie Brown at his most agitated state about the commercialism of the  holidays.  I love the dancing of his Peanut Gang because I have never seen people dance so funny!!!  But that inspiring speech by his bestie Linus makes even the grouchiest person smirk a little.

This look is inspired by ol' Charlie Brown himself! He is famous for his yellow sweaters and hats.

It's A Wonderful Life is a good holiday film about tragedy, triumphant, family, and hope.  One of my favorite scenes is the dancing scene! They did not even know what hit them! I also love this movie because it was one of my Grandma's favorite movies. Great watch for all of the generations in your family!

White Christmas is a very good movie. I love the singing and dancing. Plus the                                                              fab costume changes!

White Christmas

The red and white outfits were striking and very memorable part of the movie.

I really love this movie because of the really heartfelt scenes. The film has really good actors.  Natalie Wood was an  excellent actress even at such a young age. Maureen O'Hara was very excellent as well. But  Edmund Green  who played Santa  was brilliant and had the best  and memorable quotes.

Miracle on 34th Street
Natalie Wood's character inspired this outfit. She wore a lot of peter pan collars, cute coats, and flats.

This movie is what I call a holiday film because it has a lot of holidays featured. Halloween is also seen in this film. But the Christmas scene is my favorite because it has a very touching scene between Judy Garland and her young co star.

Inspired by Judy Garland's infamous dance scene.
