Keep warm and cozy with a scarf!

Living in North Carolina during the winter can be sometimes difficult. One day it can around 75 degrees but two or three days later the temperature can drop in the teens! That is exactly what is supposed to happen on Thursday this week! So if you are experiencing low winter temperatures a scarf can come in handy. This is why I believe that a scarf is a winter wardrobe staple. Here a few looks you can try and variety of ways to tie those scarves. No complicated instructions needed to wear these scarfs!

Why invest in a scarf:

Great for layering and giving you extra warmth. Also it can act has a statement piece if you do not want to wear jewelry. Scarves can also be used to make an outfit more modest such as when you are wearing v neck top or dress.

A few tips on styling scarves:

Scarves come in  a variety of sizes  ranging from small to large.  Smaller scarves look best on petite frames because it does not swallow you up.  Those who are tall or curvey can better pull of a larger scarf.

Those who have a bigger chest may think scarves are for them but they can if you stick to darker colors that do not drew some attention to your chest.

If you want to wear a printed scarf try to wear it with solid colors that make or color coordinate with you scarf.

Basic scarf colors to keep in your closet: black, white, brown, or neutral( tan or beige). These colors would go with almost anything.
