Winter to Spring

Winter to Spring: How to Transition from Winter to Spring

This week I am continuing with how to transition your winter pieces into spring.  From February to March the weather can vary in temperature which makes it sometimes challenging when it comes to figuring out what to wear. So I hope this post shows you that you can still wear your favorite pieces into another season or when the temperatures are all over the place.

1. Lighten up already!
In winter we have a tendency to wear darker colors. To help you transition into spring try wearing a skirt or bottom that is lighter in color like a soft pink or yellow with your darker shade.

In spring you can wear more lighter colors and lighter fabric. In spring pull out your favorite chambray shirt and your flats for a casual yet feminine look.

2. Add a pop of color

Winter fashion can sometimes gives us the blahs with all these neutral colors. But instead of waiting to spring to color up your wardrobe why not add some color now! Since a jacket is a an essential item try wearing a colorful jacket in exchange for your typical black or gray jacket.

Try neon or a darker shade of pastel with your bright color jacket with other colorful shades. Whatever shade  you love wear it!

3.Bring on the Flowers

People usually wear floral prints in spring or summer but dark floral print is something you can wear in winter. Use your dark floral fashion now with your favorite knit sweater.

But when spring comes trade in the knit sweater for a nice lace blouse or top.
