Street Chic New York Fashion Week

I love fall fashion but sometimes it gets a bad rep! Some people think that is boring especially when they prefer summer fashion (and weather!). But it  can get a little boring if you stick with just certain knits or neutral colors!  But there is much more to fall than just does two things. I found some excellent fashion  trends to upgrade your fall wardrobe and show you that fall is just as fashionable as summer!

There is so much more to fall than just black or gray.  Emerald, Cobalt, Wine, Violet,  and Mustard are just a few jewels tones that can be worn in fall.  Jewel tones make any fall look luxurious.

Playing with layers add dimension, a variety of patterns, and prints to your look.  Olivia Palermo is a quite a pro at it and I love how she mixes a furry vest with her knit items. This makes her look more dressed up!

Don't get me wrong I love plaid and knit sweaters but there are so many other things you can in fall too! Jacquard, Velvet, and Brocade are lovely fall  fabrics that you can wear. These three items are more opulent and are excellent for a special occasion or dressing up your staples (like your knit sweaters)!

How do you keep your fall fashion from being boring?

    1. Thanks! I am fan of layering because the weather in North Carolina can change in fall. One moment it is hot and the next it is cold, so layers are essential in NC! Rich fall fabrics make fall looks very stylish.
