ShopStyle CFDA Fashion Targets Breast Cancer

Shopstyle Collective is having a blogger collaboration in which bloggers agree to donate 10% off  net sales (not including taxes and shipping and handling) through their  Shopstyle Collective links on their blog during the promotion (October 17th through 23rd). POPSUGAR Inc. agreed to donate $5,000 and additionally match all Shopstyle Collective  bloggers that are participating donations of $1 for $1. POPSUGAR INC. is also working with Council of Fashion Designers of America with their support of their CFDA's Fashion Targets Breast Cancer initiative. CFDA raises funds and public awareness for Breast in the United States and Internationally.

I agreed to participate in this cause! The reason is because this cause means a lot to me. I have a cousin who had breast cancer at a very young age. She was in her twenties when she was diagnosed. It was a shock for her and our family but we supported her in her time of need. I think that helped her a lot to have people supported her.

She has been in remission for years now. She is now married and has two cute boys. I am so thankful that she is doing a whole lot better and that she was able to still be here to achieve her goals. I am also thankful that her breast cancer was caught in time and that the doctors gave her the best treatment possible. With out the right information I don't know if it would have went as well for her.
