Think Pink For 2017

Think Pink For 2017

When Pantone stated Rose Quartz was  one of the colors of the year I was quite happy. But when Dusty Cedar was announced to be the color for Fall 2016 I was ecstatic. Pink has and will always be my favorite color because it has always been my go to color to wear because it flatters me so well! lol But something about this color makes me downright happy. So when it was deemed still popular in 2017, I felt that maybe this year would be excellent for me fashion wise as well.

But not everyone is thrilled about it which is hard for me to believe sometimes. I guess it gets a bad rep for those who are minimalist or do not like "girly" fashion (FYI pink use to be for only boys).  But pink can be for anyone if they find the right shade for them or style it the way  that pleases them.  These are a few ways you can style or list try wearing pink! lol

Mixing Pastel Pink with Pastel Blue

For those who love wearing soft colors

Casual Look: Mixing Pastel Colors

Pink and blue have always been one of my favorite color combos especially when both are pastel shades.  One of my fave ways to style is keeping it casual during the cold months so it does not look like you are ready for Easter in winter! lol To keep your pastel color combo from looking even more like Easter you can simply add a bit of neutral to your look in a form of accessory like some ankle boots or maybe even an hat.
