God Loves Me!

Lovin' Me

Hi my loves!

I heard something that really touched by heart and made me think.  It was a performance by Jonathan Mcreynolds at I believe an Holy Convocation event. He performed his song No Grey which I love and often kill the repeat button with but his song Lovin' Me really did it for me. The song lyrics reminds me that regards of my flaws and my shortcomings God loves me.

We live in a society where people only love those who look a certain way or have certain things. God's love is not based on any of those conditions or any for that matter. But when Jonathan stated that he himself never really thought about the words he wrote, that God always loves! It is something that all of us at one point of time may have overlooked.

God always loves us regardless of what we have done or even what we are doing. His love is unconditional and never failing. Just think that God loved you before you were even born. That He loved you so much that he sent his only Son to die for you on the cross. That is a love that unfailing that reaches beyond our finite minds and human feelings. Listen and meditate to the lyrics of the song and think about how much God loves you!

God Bless!

Well having attending services in September at my home church, there was something that the minister stated that made think about the love of God. He stated that we often talk about how much God loves us but we forget to show others love. The minister stated that once we know the love of God we should go out and show it to others. I believe that his statement is true because a lot of times we focus on just ourselves and our problems. We focus on ourselves so much that sometimes we fail to see how others are doing. But one way to get through our pain and suffering is to help others overcome theirs.

He also stated that save people at times neglect to show the love of God to sinners. There are some saints who do not see that sinners are to be truly loved because of how they act or look. But saints have to get past that. For saints were not born saints. They were once sinners which is what people need to remember. Other saints Bible beat sinners and say that they are going to Hell. Instead of using scare tactics the love of God should be told. For example, tell them what Jesus Christ came to this earth to do.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him - "John 3:16-17 from scripturemenu.com

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, Luke 4:18

Jesus came to this world to save the sinners and heal them which is what people need to be reminded of. Jesus even spent time with sinners and helped them when in trouble. He was of course not sinning with them but helping them. He offered love with no strings. That means even if they did not get saved he still had love for them. He was not loving them just to change them. Which is what people sometimes do today make a sinner their pet project. He desired them to change but it was up to them in the end to make the decision.

Here are just a few  examples:

Luke 7:37-50 Jesus and the sinner woman with the oil

John 8:1-11 Jesus and the adulteress woman

Luke 19:1-10 Jesus and Zacchaeus

Mark 2:13-17 Jesus and Levi

So just learn to love even the most unlovable saint or sinner. That what Jesus would desire us to do.
